A prize for literature was created in 1995, in partnership with the cultural club “Tahar Haddad” and was named “The Zoubeida B’chir Award,” in honor of the leading Tunisian poet who was a pioneer in publishing a collection of poems entitled “Nostalgia” in 1968.
